The best color for a natural blue sapphire is an intense, velvety, deep royal blue. This color of sapphire would be considered AAA quality, the rarest and most valuable. The second best color is a medium rich blue, or AA quality. Never go for a cheap bad quality blue sapphire.
Bangok Blue Sapphires are available at very cheap price in the market. You can find one easily at 5–6k. But there's is no point of wearing that Sapphire as they are highly treated & opaque. They'll give you negative results, no matter how well your Saturn is placed.
Ceylon Blue Sapphires are best. It should be transparent and very light blue. Dark Blue Sapphires are actually Treated. You can get an above average quality Untreated Blue Sapphire with minor inclusions by spending a 30 to 50k (5–6 Ratti). For a flawless blue sapphire you'll have to spend more than 1 lakh or even more. If your budget isn't high, rather go for Amethyst. It is not as fast acting as Blue Sapphire but still a good stone to connect you with the higher energies of Saturn. It'll hardly cost you 2k and no chances of treatment as it changes its color to Yellow if Heated.
